Directions
- From Alameda and the South: Take 880 North to the Broadway Exit. Cross Broadway and proceed one block to Washington. Turn right on Washington Street. Proceed two blocks to 8th Street. Turn left on 8th Street. Proceed one block to Clay Street. Turn right on Clay Street. Proceed one block to 9th Street. Turn right on 9th Street.
- From Berkeley and the North: Take 80 West to 580 East to 980 Downtown Oakland. Take the 11th/12th Street Exit. Turn left on 11th Street. Turn right on Clay Street. Proceed two blocks to 9th Street. Turn left on 9th Street.
- From Walnut Creek and the East: Take 24 West, which becomes 980. Take the 11th/12th Street Exit. Turn left on 11th Street. Turn right on Clay Street. Proceed two blocks to 9th Street. Turn left on 9th Street.
- From San Francisco and the West: Cross the Bay Bridge and take 880 South San Jose. Take the Broadway / Alameda Exit. Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp onto 5th Street. Turn left on Washington Street. Proceed three blocks to 8th Street. Turn left on 8th Street. Proceed one block to Clay Street. Turn right on Clay Street. Proceed one block to 9th Street. Turn right on 9th Street.
Parking
The streets around MOCHA have metered parking (30-minute to two-hour stays). Meters are not enforced on Sundays.
The Oakland Convention Center Garage is located across the street at 10th, with entrances on Clay Street and 11th Street.
Within two blocks of MOCHA are several coin-operated parking lots; within three blocks is free street parking in two-hour and unrestricted sections.
Public Transit
- BART: MOCHA is three blocks from the 12th Street BART Station. Exit at the 11th Street Gate and proceed two blocks up Broadway to 9th. Turn right on 9th. MOCHA is located inside Swan's Marketplace at 9th and Washington. BART Schedule >>
- AC Transit Bus: MOCHA is served by several AC Transit buslines and is five blocks from the 14th & Broadway Transit Hub, where all buses converge. Our favorite lines stop on Broadway: 11, 19, 51, and 72. Walk one block down 9th or 10th street to find MOCHA. AC Transit Schedule >>
- Ferry: MOCHA is located ten blocks from the Jack London Square Ferry Terminal. Walk along the Meadow one block to Washington Street and then straight up to Ninth. Ferry Schedule >>
- Amtrak: MOCHA is located 12 blocks from the Jack London Square Amtrak Terminal, served by the Capitol Corridor Amtrak. Walk four blocks down 2nd Street to Washington Street. Turn right and then straight up to Ninth. The AC Transit 72 bus will also take you from the station to 9th and Broadway, one block away from MOCHA. Amtrak Schedule >>
