Our Virtual Art Parties will engage students through the Zoom platform. MOCHA provides enthusiastic Teaching Artists for two and a half hours. Art parties are for artists of all ages – just choose a package, date, time, and theme!
Project materials will be sent, at an extra charge, directly to the party guests or host.
You may arrive 10 minutes before your party begins to meet your artist and ask questions before your party starts. Please do not arrive earlier than your scheduled time or stay later as we have other parties and events scheduled.

FAIRYTALES DO COME TRUE
A magical theme – create wands and crowns, fairy dolls and knights, shields and dragons!
PUPPETS & MASKS
Build your own puppets using paper, cloth, buttons, feathers and more. Decorate masks to create multiple characters!
SCI FI FUN
Use techno scraps and recycled materials to make alien masks, spaceships and futuristic space gadgets.
An introduction to the art of the Aboriginal peoples of Australia and the meaning and stories behind their stylized artworks. Using paints and oil pastels students create their own dreamtime animals that inspire stories.
Artists like Frida Kahlo, Vincent Van Gogh and Henry Matisse are viewed as students discuss what makes a portrait and then learn how to use proportion to create colorful and whimsical pictures of themselves or any other abstract faces they can come up with.
Medium Options: Collage / Watercolor
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! Students learn about taking one person’s trash and turning it into their own personal treasures. They discover how to construct sculptures or architectural structures out of recycled materials.
SUMI-E BRUSH PAINTING
Students learn about the history and art of brush painting. Practice several painting techniques and create an Asian-type scroll in the traditional Sumi style.
Give us a theme and a MOCHA teaching artist will develop 2 custom projects for your party, (3 weeks notice needed for custom projects).
