Artists in Libraries

LEAP @ the libraries with MOCHA!

MOCHA offers FREE weekly art workshops at five Oakland Public Library branches as part of LEAP (Library Education and Art Program). LEAP is funded by for the 2017-2018 school year, their $20,000 donation that they made in September 2017 is keeping our library program accessible to the greater Oakland community.

Art Workshops

Workshops are led by our teaching artists and are focused on building creativity, socioemotional and academic skills through painting, drawing, sculpting, collage and numerous other art forms.
