Sandboxes to Empowerment Play Groups
Free parent-child programs at Oakland Recreation Centers
MOCHA collaborates with the City of Oakland Office of Parks and Recreation Department and Lotus Bloom Child and Family Resource Center to offer free parent-child play groups at three City of Oakland Recreation Centers. Play groups are open to children under five years of age. Our activities are designed to promote healthy attachment and social and motor development. The program also provides opportunities for parents and children to engage in art and music activities that support early learning.

Sandboxes Playgroups are open to the public from 9:30am to Noon.
