Afterschool Residencies
Arts learning and mentorship during the critical afterschool hours
MOCHA’s hands-on afterschool art workshops encourage creativity, self-expression, problem-solving and critical thinking. Our lessons are tied to state visual arts standards and are also designed to build students’ skills in language arts, math, science and social science. Lessons are tailored to the afterschool setting, using commonly available art materials. We provide semester- and year-long residencies as part of comprehensive afterschool programs.
We also offer a 4-, 6- and 10-week series of art lessons.
