EXHIBITION

The Art in Open Court: Making Connections
February 27 – April 15

Reception
march 22 | 5-7pm

The Art in Open Court was created by MOCHA to
help Kindergarten classroom teachers connect
visual literacy to the Open Court reading program

teachers’ journeys to make those connections, in
celebration of Art IS Education month, observed throughout Alameda County.

SATURDAY STORIES

cat in the hat
march 3 | 1-4 p.m.| free

The first Saturday of every month, MOCHA links
literacy with art, featuring children's stories
read out loud followed by artmaking based on the
themes of these captivating tales. On March 3,
MOCHA Celebrates the 50th anniversary of Cat in
the Hat, then we create – what else? – cool cats
and funky hats. Saturday Stories are sponsored by Target.

SCHOOL'S OUT MOCHA'S IN

There are two ways to MOCHA-size on Cesar Chavez
day. Enroll in our One Day Wonder Camp, where the
