Program Objectives:
- Supporting emerging artists by providing studio space
- Developing collaborative exhibitions based on participatory museum models for our gallery
- Creating stronger links between the thriving Bay Area arts community and the youth and family audiences that MOCHA serves.
Program Details:
- Resident artists have the opportunity to work in a space to develop installations and exhibitions that incorporate collaboration with children and their families to continuously “reinvent” the museum space.
- Artists participate in events geared towards parents, educators and artists including artist talks, and professional development workshops.
- Artists would potentially attend MOCHA special events including funder dinners and opening receptions.
